electrical motors has asked our company to <strong>supply a sub-assembled motor<\/strong> acting as <strong>general contractor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The customer had developed a <strong>pioneering electrical motor with an integrated oil cooling system<\/strong> based on a <strong>high-precision machined casting<\/strong> with <strong>100% tightness requirement<\/strong>; moreover the customer wanted to supply the final sub-assembly from a <strong>sole partner leading the upstream supply chain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Project Management<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In order to optimize the yield of the casting both in the molding and in the assembly phase, <strong>we collaborated with the customer in the product design<\/strong>, so as to reach a <strong>high casting quality<\/strong>, essential to a <strong>smooth and efficient machining process<\/strong> as well as a final <strong>rapid and safe assembly<\/strong> among our customer\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>With the help of our casting simulation software we have identified a casting feeding system that has allowed us to build an <strong>efficient and compact mould<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As general contractors coordinating the entire development process, <strong>we have selected the suppliers for the components to be assembled<\/strong> (i.e. the machined extrusion and the gaskets), guaranteeing <strong>advantages both in terms of cost and high quality.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the following we\u2019ve <strong>designed and built the assembly station<\/strong> and, thanks to our experience in the field of die-casting and mechanical machining of electric motors, we\u2019ve <strong>proactively solved the initial problems our customer met in keeping the dimensions<\/strong> after the assembly with the stator pack.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Benefits to our Customer<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Our customer has been able to rely on a <strong>strategic partner who would act as a sole supplier for the semi-assembled parts<\/strong>, respecting the project times and managing the upstream supply chain.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to our consultancy both in the design and building phases, he was <strong>able to prevent possible critical issues in advance<\/strong> and optimize the product, <strong>confirming its innovative value on the market without compromising its
